New Member of the Team – Jacob "Jake" James

Norton welcomed Jacob "Jake" James to the team in March 2025. Jake joined to support the Warehouse and Trade Counter, helping with stock, customer supplies, inbound and outbound orders, as well as deliveries.

A family man and proud father of two, Jake enjoys music, scuba diving and motorcycling. While he may not be into football, being Welsh means rugby is his sport of choice!

Jake's arrival also marks another milestone for the team, taking Norton's team from 9 members to 10.

Plating Fasteners at Norton's

Did you know that Norton can provide plating services for fasteners?

Fasteners can be plated in a range of finishes to suit different applications, including chemical blacking, Stay-Black, stainless, zinc plated and zinc flake.

These options provide flexibility when specific finishes, appearance or performance requirements are needed.

Plating Service

Norton offers a full plating service, specialising in Nor-Black dry finishing of fasteners for suitability in PCB manufacture and cabinet finishing.

A variety of custom finishes can also be arranged, including zinc, nickel, tin and a range of colour anodising. Stay-Black finishing is also available on stainless steel fasteners.
